Climate Responsive Primary School, Ahmedabad

It is a climate responsive low cost school, designed in the hot climate of Ahmedabad and is situated near the Sabarmati river. this a government funded school using the F-trap and multiple shading device like a vertical hover on west facade and angled hover and casement window on southwest facade with sun as azimuth angle of the particular area and used the water pit for passive cooling. We also designed the semi permanent corridor to allow passage of hot air from ventilator of the classroom.
