Ayesha Orchard School

The challenge in this project was that it had already 97 trees planted on site and we did not want to uproot any trees in order to preserve the nature. So, we designed and constructed the school around those trees without harming them and incorporated BALA (Building As a Learning Aid) principle, along with that building were designed to provide passive cooling and maintain the temperature 20-22 degree in the hot summer without the use of A/C to promote sustainability and vernacular architecture. In addition to these we also constructed the rain water harvesting system and installed photovoltaic panels on the rooftop, which will be able to cater the electricity needs of the school.
